The Association of Yachting Historians, with the active support of Lloyd’s Register Group Ltd., has scanned the entire series of Lloyd’s Register of Yachts (94 volumes), which was published annually from 1878 to 1980, except during the two World Wars. After extensive research the Association has brought together not only all the published volumes but also all the associated annual supplements which were published during the course of each year (some 158 supplements were issued). The Yachtsman Magazine 1891 – 1939
This new product is a major achievement. No single institution held a complete run of the magazine, so tracing the full set of issues proved a long and difficult exercise, but AYH has now completed the scanning of all 92 volumes and over 38,000 pages. Click here for more details.

The introduction of ProQuest, an academic search programme, now enables Members to access the extensive yachting reports contained in each weekly issue of The Field Magazine between 1853 and 2005. This resource is fully searchable.
